WAC Lighting

For our last 2022 presentation visit we looked at WAC LIGHTING’s new and updated products!

STRUT System:

  • The zoom track head comes in two wattages:

    6.5W, 430lm, 15 to 45 degrees. 

    15W, up to 1230lm!, 15 to 40 degrees. 

  • Linear magnet mounted track with regressed and diffused lenses: including fully frosted flush , 1" dropped, semi-frosted, and narrow distribution. 

  • Stealth Linera Wallwasher magnet mounted track: We absolutely liked it! Comes in 1ft, 2ft, & 4ft sections, up to 930lm/ft. The lens is seated in the channel and would be invisible after installation in the ceiling (unlike some competitors that have a dropped lip below the ceiling line), and it delivers a clean line of light on the wall!

  •  Pendant mounted cylinder: Its unique feature is the telescopic adjustable 10ft cable. 

 STRUT Control System - CPU

  • WAC is using its unique control system with an app that accepts 4 dimmers for 4 grouping zones. All the fixtures with their dedicated ID for individual control, like the Dali system. Available in 96W to 600W hardwired power, controlled via 0-10V, ELV, Triac, & DMX. 96W is also available as portable with 6ft cord & plug.

New Recessed Lighting

  • All in one downlight with 2" tall shallow housing, replaceable round and square trim, trimless flange, 25 degree adjustment.

  • They came out with a 2 inch super shallow downlight with a magnet mounted light module for easy replacement.

  • Available beam options are 15 degrees to 45 degrees. 


Joker Light

Joker Light was our first in office product presentation of 2021! 

Joker lighting North American lighting manufacturer. European parent line is Arkos lighting. Shipping port of entry in Miami, FL. Product shipped directly from overseas; not stocked in USA. 

Nice architectural light fixtures with clean form factors.  

Track, recessed, suspended, and surface mount. No wall washers. 

 

Track available in 48V and 24V 

PLUS 48V -  track head with telescoping beam from 12deg – 51deg. Clean beam spread and field angle! DN $383 - $433 

TOP - Surface cylinder provides field changeable TIR optics $77-112 

Black foster -  teeny multicell downlights available recessed or track mounted. An affordable version of iguzzini laserblade price: (depending on qty of cells) $94 

Shot – teeny recessed 1.5" aperature with 1.9" recessing depth DN $61 

Spin – decorative suspended downlight or track suspended down light. Very attractive form factor with fun finishes and 2 beam spreads 20deg and 40 deg 

N8 LIGHTING

Today we looked at the new updates to the N8 LIGHTING downlights, including the 800 Series NEW tunable white option.

The adders for warm-dim and tunable are just $20 and $80. We also reviewed the smooth dimming curve in warm dim and standard white with N8’s DIM1 standard driver.

The mono-point now comes with four (4) stem lengths and round or square shapes, installed with a 4” Jbox with an integrated driver. A new remote driver option comes with a 1” canopy. (NOT AVAILABLE AS TRIMLESS BUT it’s very thin, just 1/8”. ) Available narrow spots are: A true 10 degree beam (not in WD), 15 degree (available with WD), NOT AVAILABLE in 2700k BUT this CCT can be achieved with colored lens accessories.

All the downlights have Cree LED chip except the mono-points.


REGGIANI

Today we looked at updated and upcoming products

NORI: Accept up to add 2 lenses honeycomb louver, 45 degree cone (wall-washer option)

YORI Surface/ pendant: Available in multi sizes; Possible to do it as a cluster of multi sizes; EldoLED driver is an option; custom finish is a $35 adder.

dropped acrylic shade with hallow and solid is an option-field interchangeable; 3.7" model (largest) delivers about 2000lm; $150 (DM Pricing),

Monopoint fixture with J-box in canopy. 1.7" coms with a custom mud-in ring to cover the canopy.

The track channel the 4 conductor has 2 conductor for 48V power, and 2 for control. Cosambi Bluetooth control is an option

MOOD (Update): fixed adjustable and wall-washer downlights; Copper is a new finish.; IP66, suitable for shower

The remote driver option could accommodate up to 5 fixtures.

MOODPRO (NEW): Coming the first quarter of 2021; same size and depth of the standard but be better heatsink and output - new natural wood finish

TRIBECA:

The 3" and 4" models are now wet rated; NEW Prismatic lens with >19 UGR; surface conduit option is available for the cylinder model

LFI

Today we participated in a webinar from LFI.

MF150

  • This product comes in a 4.5” and 5.5” aperture

  • Comes in 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 light configurations

  • There is a trimless knife edge option

  • There are three different sizes of removable magnetic track heads that can fit inside this fixture.

VF400 Series

  • Available in 6”, 8”, and 10” apertures

  • It can be trimless in both sheetrock or wood ceilings

  • It is available in warm dim and tunable white as well

  • It has a textured acrylic diffuser


EF500

  • This product is a slot fixture with a lot of flexibility in the components that can fit into it. There are both point source and linear options available for the slot.


EN600

  • This is a cove fixture that LFI has updated to have a new extruded body. It has the flexibility of being wall mounted or concealed. It also has an option for both inside and outside corners.

  • It comes in an asymmetric distribution as well.

  • It comes in 1’, 2’, 3’, and 4’ lengths.

  • It is available in tunable white that can be controlled through DMX or wireless bluetooth mesh.


Lanie Series

  • These track heads now come with TIR optics that range from a 9 degree beam spread to a 35 degree beam spread. If you include the prismatic lens, the fixture can go up to a 60 degree beam spread.

  • It comes in static white and warm-dim

  • It can hold up to two accessories

  • Hexcell louver, beam shaping lenses, and barndoors are all available

  • 1,000-2,400 Lumens

Alison Track Head

  • This is a low voltage track head

  • 16W

  • 1,000 Lumens

3G

Today we attended a webinar from 3G since they are launching updates to quite a few of their product lines.

Downlights

Their 4.5'“ downlight now comes in a 10 degree beam spread

The 3.3” and 4.5” aperture downlights now have an 80 degree beam spread option

In addition, warm-dim and tunable white options will be coming soon for these fixtures.

Madison

  • Same notes as above

  • The 1, 2, ad 3 light configurations now come in pendant or surface mount options.



Cylinder

  • They now have a 7” tall fixed cylinder downlight

  • Both the 7” and 11” are also available as a double gimbal adjustable downlight. This is done by incorporating the Mini Madison.

Linia

  • All widths are now available in T-shape, X-shape, and custom configurations.

  • All widths also are offering asymmetric beam spread options in both the direct and indirect lenses. The indirect lens will also now have a wide spread optic option.

  • The Micro Madison can now be incorporated into the 3.5” width Linia product.

  • Tunable white option will be coming soon

Zoie

  • They now have a 4 square configuration

  • This fixture now comes in 8” and 12” pendants

  • A lensed wall wash is now available in this product line. This is available in 4, 8, and 12 cell segments.

  • This product can now do continuous runs in pendant, surface, and recessed mounting types.

PreciseLED

PreciseLED is new to ELA. They are located on Long Island.  

ZENLITE

Zenlite is an in-wall product that goes over the joists and is in line with gypsum. The mudplate is made out of PVC. This is advantageous because the PVC doesn't retain heat. The fixture can be installed with or without the lens in. The lens is laser cut and pre-installed before shipping so on the site, they just need to peel off the protective tape. The LED strip is typically installed beforehand.

Available in 1" and 2" versions.

It costs around $48/ft (DN price).

  

ARC:

The curvable extrusion with a flexible lens. The 15°  radius is the tightest they can go. The curved product is edge-lit (2 LED strips facing each other) with a silicone lens.

Zenlight tile also exists. The lens is poured into place. You can walk or drive on the Zenlight tile fixture.

  

The maximum running length is 100ft.

It costs around $100/ft (DN price).

They also have an asymmetric Zenlite as well.

*the straight and the curve products are using different LED chips and won't be mixed.

DOWNLIGHTS:

The downlights available as trimmed and trimless with IC and Non-IC rated housings, 45° tilt and 360° rotation, and interchangeable lenses.

The Novation is their new 3" downlight/wallwasher . It has one of the shallowest air-tight housing on the market, 18" X 2.44", an interchangeable adjustable downlight and wallwasher lens. The housing has a unique copper piece which acts as a heatsink and therefore allows the housing to be this shallow.

  

*The shallow housing has only 30° tilt adjustment.

*They use CREE LED chip. The LED head is screwed-in and field replaceable (great for changing CCT).

*The trimmed fixture is shower rated.

They do not currently have a trimless option for millwork fixtures but they are currently working on it.

*They do have their own line of drivers but their products work with others as well.

Their wallwasher has an interesting lens design.

It's good to keep in mind, the piece with get really hard and make it difficult for on-site optic adjustment (there is a very tight space to access the clip for adjustments).

DIM TO WARM TAPE:

We also looked at their dim to warm tape. This tape has alternating chips to achieve the desired effect. All of PreciseLED's tapes are a minimum of 90 CRI.

 

UNDER CABINET FIXTURES:

They also have a line of interesting under cabinet fixtures called LUMAMATE.

The system has 90° vertical, 90° horizontal joint connector, motion sensor, on/off switch and dimmer switch all in on.

*The touch dimming, step dimming by tapping worked really smoothly.

They started with the larger size and have evolved to a smaller sized fixture with the same capabilities. The smaller fixture is not yet online or in the catalog but is coming soon.

  • Available in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K.
  • Available in 90CRI (standard) and 95CRI.
  • 45° clip and flush clip are available for mounting.
